Meet The Grumpy Baker

Hi, I am Liam Nash aka The Grumpy Baker. After a lot of deliberation with the family, my kids settled on this name.....i think they are trying to tell me something 😂.
After a successful 20 year career as a Procurement Manager, predominantly in the Rail Industry, I finally decided to pack it all in and follow my passion for bread making. My aim is to share my love for real bread with my local community and beyond.
My love of proper bread started when I was a child growing up in Ireland, where my dad would give me freshly baked soda bread, with a side of black pudding, for breakfast before school. I was hooked! Fast forward to today, I have been baking bread for the family for nearly 8 years and now want to share.
We will specialise in long fermented yeasted and sourdough breads, with a few sweet treats thrown in for good measure!
