This loaf is made with Organic White Spelt flour. A cousin of wheat, spelt is an ancient grain used in bread making for thousands of years. The roman army was sustained on spelt bread. The crumb is soft, the crust is chewy and the flavour is subtle. Great for toast, sandwichs or for dipping in a delicious stew!
